he Columbia Jewish Congregation offers a variety of services including: Friday night and Saturday morning Shabbat Services, L'Dor Va'Dor (formerly Junior Congregation), and a monthly Tot Shabbat Service. Join us for any and all of the services that suit you and your family.

Friday Night Shabbat Service
7:30 PM Shabbat Service held at the Oakland Mills Meeting House.

Saturday morning Service

10:00 AM Saturday morning Shabbat Service held at the Oakland Mills Meeting House. The service is clergy-led.

Saturday morning Chavurah Service
10:00 AM Saturday morning Shabbat Service held at the Oakland Mills Meeting House. The service is lay-led.

L'Dor Va'Dor Service
Saturdays at 10:00 AM (check the calendar for the exact date)

This service is led by the Rabbi. It is geared for all ages with the Hebrew school students leading specific prayers.

Monthly B'Yachad (together) Service
One Saturday a month (check the calendar for the exact date)

CJC combines the intimacy of the lay-led Chavurah service with the beauty of our clergy-led service in one congregational service- B'yachad.

Monthly Tot Shabbat Service
6:15 PM one Friday a month (check the calendar for the exact date)

This is a wonderful Shabbat service for preschoolers and their families. There are books read, stories told, prayers, and plenty of singing - all intended to engage the preschooler and their older brothers and sisters, as well. Regular Friday night Shabbat services follow at 8:00 pm.
