The Light of Days tells one of the most moving stories of WWII: witness to the destruction of their families and communities, a group of Jewish women in Poland, some of them just teenagers, transformed Jewish youth groups into resistance cells to fight the Nazis. These “ghetto girls” did whatever was necessary to achieve their goals, anything from blowing up train lines to bribing and enticing Nazi soldiers. This powerful and inspiring book has been optioned by Steven Spielberg for a major motion picture.
