 t is with great pleasure that we announce the 2025&nbsp\;Annual&nbsp\;Meet
 ing of Columbia Jewish Congregation.&nbsp\;As always\, there are a number 
 of items on our agenda including an update on the membership pledging proc
 ess and the state of the congregation. We will also be voting to elect dir
 ectors and officers of the congregation and on an amendment to our Bylaws 
 relating to term limits for board members.\n\n\n\nWe thank Harriet Bachman
 \, Danna Berkowitz\, John Evans\, Eliana Holgate and Dan Shernicoff for th
 eir dedication and service!\n\n\n\nAmendment to Bylaws\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn Art
 icle I\, Section 2 of the Bylaws\, a new paragraph (f) is added as follows
 :\n\n“(f) A person who has served on the Board of Directors for four (4)
  consecutive years or portions of four (4) consecutive years as an elected
  director under Section 2(a)(i) above or as a director appointed to fill a
  vacancy under Section 2(c) above\, or any combination thereof\, shall not
  again be eligible for election or appointment under such sections until a
 t least two (2) full years have elapsed since the person last served on th
 e Board of Directors in either of such capacities.”\n\n\n\nPlease regist
 er in advance&nbsp\;for the&nbsp\;Annual&nbsp\;Meeting.\nIf you are unable
  to attend the&nbsp\;Annual&nbsp\;Meeting either in-person or virtually an
 d would like to vote absentee and be counted&nbsp\;toward a quorum\,&nbsp\
