Community Havdalah

Let us gather as a community for Havdalah. Havdalah is our Jewish ritual separating Shabbat from the new week. This week, we also mark another very significant separation: the separation between a country where access to safe abortion has been the law of the land to a country where this is no longer so. This decision is an act that infringes upon our ancestral law and values.

Our Havdalah ritual will be a space to mourn, to sing, to pray, to connect, to share, and to unite. We will make space for all who are impacted, mind body and soul, by this decision.

As we separate between Shabbat and the week that lies ahead, we pray for the redemptive strength we need to keep going.
