Judaism’s three Jewish leaders were anointed to insure the perpetuation of Judaism: the Kohen, the Navi and the Melech. All three became irrelevant. Other Jewish leaders believed that they had the key to Jewish survival: the philosopher, the sage and the strategist. All three were found wanting. Today, Judaism is in the hands of the traditionalist, the nationalist and the secularist.
