April 30, 2022, 10:00 am
Join us Saturday, April 30 as we start our Shabbat morning meandering along the budding paths of Oakland Mills. Immersed in Creation, together, we will sing out shacharit – joined by the chirps, buzzes and barks of our local habitat.
Services begin @ 10:00am. We will meet and end at OMI.
Accessibility note – All the paths we travel upon will be fully paved and wheel-chair accessible. There are some small hills. If there are special accommodations that can be made to make it easier for you to join, please be in touch with Robin or Rabbi Michael. This service will not be available virtually.
After services, Hans Plugge and Abby Ershow are hosting a Backyard Shabbat Lunch (dairy)! Gather in their garden (which is walking distance from OMI) to shmooze and connect while taking in some early afternoon sunshine. Address will be forwarded upon registration. Following lunch, Hans will lead a 30-minute stormwater walking tour of the Oakland Mills neighborhood for those who are interested in learning more.
Please register in advance, by Wednesday, April 27 so we have a count for lunch.
For more information contact Robin, 443-319-8114.
Please note: This service is only available in-person, outside on the paths. We will be unable to use Zoom for this service.
