SIGN UP FOR A VIRTUAL WALK FUNDRAISER FOR NAMI
CJC is participating in NAMI’s (the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Maryland) annual walk fundraiser, virtually, Sunday, May 31, 2020. One in five adults experience mental illness each year in the U.S. One in six youth aged 6-17 experience a mental health disorder each year in the U.S. The coronavirus pandemic puts additional strains on our mental health and services available. NAMI’s programs and advocacy are needed more than ever.
NAMIWalks is the largest mental health education and fundraising effort in America. NAMIWalks brings together thousands of individuals and supporters to celebrate mental illness recovery, honor those who have lost their lives to mental illness and help raise funds, combat stigma and promote awareness.
THIS YEAR, VIRTUALLY
NAMI is pleased to announce a Walk for our times: Virtual NAMIWalks Maryland, 5K Your Way for Team CJC, Sunday, May 31, 2020. Virtual NAMIWalks Maryland means just what it sounds like: virtually anything goes. You can walk around your block, your garden, or even walk with a wok in your kitchen. You can self-fundraise while you self-quarantine. Best of all, you can 5k your way!
CJC has a team to raise awareness and funds that support free, top-rated NAMI programs in our community.
