Mexican-Jewish artist Aliza Nisenbaum joins Hirshhorn assistant curator Betsy Johnson for a discussion about her vibrant, community-based portraits, which have taken on new meaning during this time of social isolation.Nisenbaum’s best-known artworks are intimate portraits of fellow immigrants.
