December 10, 2021 will be celebrated internationally and at CJC as Human Rights Day! This year for Human Rights Shabbat
we will highlight the need for universal Pre-K.

Please join CJC for Friday night Shabbat Services honoring Human Rights. As part of our service, we will hear from Christina Lopes, President, Maryland Association for the Education of Young Children. Ms. Lopes will highlight the need for universal Pre-K and access to high quality early childhood education and describe current federal and state legislation addressing universal Pre-K.

Ms. Lopes will be joined by Jodi Fishman, Executive Director, Bet Yeladim Preschool (here in Columbia) for a discussion with the congregation on what we can do to address the need for universal Pre-K This service is co-sponsored by CJC’s Mensch Club.
