Shabbat Shira

We celebrate Shabbat Shira with the CJC Choir, Shabbat Shalom Band and Cantor Ben Kintisch!

The Shabbat that falls before or on Tu B’Shevat is called Shabbat Shira because the week’s
Torah portion, B’shalach, includes Shirat Hayam, the song the Israelites sang
after they crossed the Red Sea.
