We will continue to explore the influence Hebrew had on Harvard, Yale, Columbia and other American educational institutions and what George Washington and Thomas Jefferson felt about Jewish people. We will also explore interesting mistranslations of some original Biblical texts, how the revival of the Hebrew language  (it was never dead!!) developed, and how “new” vocabularies were created to keep up with the ever-changing world…and more! Knowledge of Hebrew is not necessary to enjoy this class!
