The Book of Numbers is composed of narrative, and archival records. Its narrative begins at the point where Exodus leaves off. Exodus ends by relating the erection of the Tabernacle on the first day of Nissan, Leviticus describes the building of a religious community and Numbers describes in detail the building of a society, a nation complete with census taking, addressing concerns and complaints of the community and developing a leadership model. All are welcome!
