The Jews of Tin Pan Alley:  An exploration of the lives and music of celebrated Jewish songwriters, whose achievements would come to dominate that body of work known as the “Great American Songbook”.

Seth will discuss the lives, careers, and music of such luminaries as the Brothers Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, and  Harold Arlen. In the course of the program, participants will  hear  classic recordings, see rare video clips, and get to  experience “live” performances from Seth himself.  Those who joined in last month’s program know that Seth is an excellent teacher, raconteur and musician in his own right.
