Tree Maintenance Workshop & Rain Garden Replanting

Join the OMI Green Team, in conjunction with Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake’s One Water Partnership Program, for a hands on workshop on how to do tree maintenance. We will also replant and maintain the 4 rain gardens on the property.

Participants will hear from tree expert Louis Meyer on how to care for trees especially our “babies” that we planted on site in 2015. If you have them bring safety glasses, work gloves, hand pruners and hand saws labeled with your name. NO CHAINSAWS.

Rain garden volunteers should wear long pants, closed shoes and work gloves. Bring food and water you may need while on site. You must also wear a mask in the building.
