Dr. Kathryn Van Eck
Dr. Eck is a clinical psychologist at Kennedy Krieger Institute (KKI) and an Assistant Professor in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University (JHU). Her research focuses on developing strategies and approaches to support at risk, underserved youth in mental health care. She currently serves as a psychologist in the interdisciplinary Emerging Gender Clinic in Adolescent Medicine at JHU. She started a new clinic at KKI for the transgender, gender non-binary youth and provides training and support to KKI and JHU staff to how to offer affirming care to LGBTQ+ pediatric patients.Map Unavailable
