DESCRIPTION:The rabbis understood death as a natural part of life. It was o
 ne more stage in our spiritual development\, one we did not necessarily li
 ke or desire\, but one that had lessons to teach us nonetheless. As a resu
 lt the rabbis created a thorough means by which one can mourn losses. One 
 piece of this process was establishing yizkor which literally means memori
 al. This is a service held four times a year in which we pause to remember
  in community those we miss.\n\nHoliday times in particular can be a mixed
  experience.&nbsp\;On the one hand\, we are grateful for the time to celeb
 rate with family and friends.&nbsp\;On the other hand\, we are saddened by
  the awareness of those who are missing.&nbsp\;\n\nPlease join as we come 
 together in-person to end Sukkot as a community.\n\nThe service will also 
 be available via livestream.
