Zoom Me to Morocco

We have been invited by Congregation Torat El in New Jersey to Zoom to Morocco!

Congregation Torat El members Candy and Michael Friedman list Kingdom of Morocco as one of their favorite tourist destinations. They found Morocco to be a diverse country with big cities, rural towns, mountains, deserts, Roman ruins and beaches. The people are diverse as well – ethnic groups include the Berbers, Tuaregs and Jews. The Jews of today, as well as the Jews during WWII, during Ramadan and their unique Hiloula pilgrimages, will be discussed.

Morocco has prolific artisans and Candy will share some of the handicrafts and jewelry they brought home. This program is offered free of charge and lasts an hour, so you will be home in time for dinner!
