Tahara Educational Session

Led by David Zinner and Merry Knight, this meaningful training will explore the sacred practice of tahara—the traditional ritual preparation of the deceased. Open to all community members, this session is an opportunity to learn about the chevrah kadisha (our community’s sacred burial society), with a special invitation to younger generations to help carry this important tradition forward. Together, we’ll learn the practical steps and spiritual significance of this profound act of chesed shel emet (true loving kindness). No experience is necessary—just an open heart and a desire to serve our community with dignity and compassion.
