Sunday Evening Teen Class Meets at The Meeting House
5:00pm – 7:00pm

We are very excited that our teen group will be co-taught by Rabbi Michael Hess Webber and Stephanie Gurwitz-Zurier! Some weeks Rabbi Michael will teach, some weeks Morah Stephanie will teach, and some weeks they will both teach together.

Teens! Are you Jewish? Are you curious? Are you in grades 9-12?

If you answered yes to these questions – YALLA TEEN CLASS is for you!

WHAT IS TEEN CLASS?! A place for Jewish teens to connect with each other while exploring and experimenting with different aspects of our religion, values, history and culture. Teen class offers an open and honest environment where all opinions, ideas and identities are welcome and respected. In Teen Class we encourage discussion and questioning.

Pizza and fun are part of this group including games, debates and lots of snacks. [Unlike in previous years, you do not need to sign up for pizza. Pizza and drinks will be available for everyone registered for the class. You are always welcome to bring a favorite (nut-free) snack to share

A NOTE: Rabbi Michael and Morah Stephanie met over the summer to develop a 4-year rotating curriculum. Within this structure, there is always room for your feedback, teens! If you have ideas for things to study, send them our way!

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES FOR TEENS
Sundays – B’Yachad Student Aides assist teachers and students in many ways. They help with activities in the classrooms, provide one-on-one tutoring to students, facilitate special programs, and help to run B’Yachad. Aides receive a modest pay for their service.
