High Holy Day Usher Orientation

The Jewish emphasis on community and caring for each other is inherent in our tradition. Safety and security are the most fundamental of human needs. We meet these necessities by increasing the physical and psychological safety at Jewish institutions. During this time of rising antisemitism, it is of high importance that Jewish communities and synagogues stay vigilant. It is considered a mitzvah to help provide this security.

CJC is in need of Ushers to help during all services and especially during High Holy Day services. Our plan is to set a flexible usher schedule for the High Holy Days. Please say that you will be there for your community and perform this mitzvah.

Click here to sign-up to be an Usher and register for the High Holy Day Usher Orientation. There’s a spot on the registration form to volunteer, even if you are unable to attend the orientation.

Thank you in advance to everyone willing to participate for the safety of our CJC community.
