Keshet Committee Meeting

February 8, 2026
10:00 am - 11:00 am

The Keshet Committee meets monthly.

The Keshet Committee at Columbia Jewish Congregation exists to ensure that our synagogue is deeply affirming of LGBTQIA+ individuals and families. Keshet, the Hebrew word for rainbow, reflects our sacred commitment to honoring the full spectrum of identities in Jewish life. We are a passionate committee of Queer Jews and allies, working to make CJC a spiritual home where everyone, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, or family structure can belong, thrive, and find joy in Jewish life.

SPECIAL MEETING!

CJC’s Keshet Committee is growing!

Your voice is needed to help shape an inclusive future for our community. We are seeking passionate new members (with a particular invitation to our non-binary, lesbian, gay, transgender, and queer congregants) to join us as we tackle several exciting new initiatives.

Please come to our next meeting — we always have a gay old time!
