B’Yachad Shabbat Service

Combining the intimacy of the lay-led Chavurah service with the beauty of our clergy-led service, we come together in one service – B’Yachad! We will be celebrating Juneteenth.

Rabbi Starr has always taught “Think globally, act locally.”  As a result, over x number of years ago, CJC began studying ourselves and our relationship to micro aggressions.  Over the course of her time at CJC, she has seen micro aggressions committed of different kinds.  We will learn about the experience of being a member of CJC who is also Black or Brown and the micro aggressions they have experienced.  Please come and learn how we can grow and become the place we always wanted to be.
