It is with great pleasure that we announce the 2025 Annual Meeting of Columbia Jewish Congregation. As always, there are a number of items on our agenda including an update on the membership pledging process and the state of the congregation. We will also be voting to elect directors and officers of the congregation and on an amendment to our Bylaws relating to term limits for board members.

We thank Harriet Bachman, Danna Berkowitz, John Evans, Eliana Holgate and Dan Shernicoff for their dedication and service!

Amendment to Bylaws

In Article I, Section 2 of the Bylaws, a new paragraph (f) is added as follows:

“(f) A person who has served on the Board of Directors for four (4) consecutive years or portions of four (4) consecutive years as an elected director under Section 2(a)(i) above or as a director appointed to fill a vacancy under Section 2(c) above, or any combination thereof, shall not again be eligible for election or appointment under such sections until at least two (2) full years have elapsed since the person last served on the Board of Directors in either of such capacities.”
