If this sounds like a strange topic for a Talmud class, you’re right. We will explore two remarkable talmudic stories about the relationship between a rabbi and a prostitute and also about much more. If you’re concerned that the women will come off looking bad, here’s a preview: Neither is portrayed as evil in the least and one of the women is the moral hero of the tale.
