This film is about the 2000-year-old Indian Jewish community and its formative place in shaping the world’s largest film industry, from the turn of the 20th century to the present day.

The first major film documentary to cover the performer’s career and his quest for identity.  He strove to achieve the American dream at a time of racial prejudice and shifting political territory.  He was the most public Black figure at that time to embrace Judaism.

A Christian Arab who is a failing businessman in Nazareth dreams of success by selling the air of the Holy Land.  To bring such a product to market, he needs the cooperation of three cultures ruling over Nazareth:  the Jewish politicians, the Muslim mafia, and the Catholic Church officials.
